Video Series - 15th installment

I took a little break from the pet peeve videos (alas - my camera decided to take it's last breath!), but now I'm back with the last few of the series. And footage from my new Flip Camera to boot!

Today's vid deals with the practice of ONLY doing exercises on machines... and why I advocate avoiding that practice!

Yes, indeed. When I joined my gym the staff gave me a program of 80 percent machine work. Ended up with serious joint strains that I'm still trying to fix.

Serious joint strains don't occur from machine use. And Kim looks like a dude.

Hey Kim! This is a great topic and now I understand why you have me go from doing leg extensors on the machine to my new favorite, yes the one legged squat has been replaced, the mid-to-low squat with the dumbells. Using the techniques you have given me have really helped to improve my overall physique. YOU ROCK!!

Thanks to all my haters for such loving comments. :) I'm glad that you've spent the time to let me know that you're intimidated by my strength. As you should be! Most of the guys at my CrossFit gym are intimidated as well. I'm used to it.

And Jeff... no, YOU rock! I'm so glad that your workouts have been so beneficial for you. In all honesty, even though I give you the tools, YOU have been the one to use them consistently enough to see great progress. Keep up the great work!

What's wrong with you anonymous idiots? Are you scared that your $50 Bally's personal trainer certification course was BS and you can't provide and valid criticism or otherwise worthwhile comments? Unless you can back up your comments and stop hiding behind the 'anonymous' label, keep to yourself. Or better yet, come by the gym and show us how your way is better!
